Kendra Foster McBride is a singer, actor, musician, dancer, composer, and lyricist based in New York City. Born and raised in London, England, she studied/trained at the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School and Hurtwood House. At age 19, she made her professional debut in a regional production of Rent as Maureen Johnson, earning critical acclaim. After moving to the US in 2022 to train at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, she graduated in February 2024 with a conservatory certificate from the integrated program (musical theatre).
Recent credits include multiple performances as a featured soloist in shows such as 'Broadway's The Next Generation,' (The Green Room 42), 'Broadway's Greatest Hits,' '11:00 Numbers at 7:00!' (54 Below), 'Hollywood's Greatest Hits, Vol. 1,' (Barrymore Film Center), and 'Broadway By The Season,' (Merkin Hall) as both a musical director and solo performer. McBride has performed off-Broadway, not only at 54 Below, but at The Chain Theatre, originating the role of Koda in the one-act play, 'Listen to Me,' by Edward Gibbons-Brown, and more recently, the role of Jory in 'On The Radio.' She has worked twice as the musical director for Lucie Tassel's 'Broadway Abroad,' which was reviewed as one of the 'best cabaret shows to be seen in New York.'
Kendra has been described as a musical theatre prodigy, with an unparalleled vocal versatility, innate actor's instinct, and extensive musical knowledge.
